Samsung LN19C350 19in HDTV
With its superb picture quality and multitude of connections the Samsung LN19C350 19" LCD HDTV offers a compelling TV package that will suit a wide range of consumer demands.
For those not technically adept, Samsung has made the setup as simple as possible. Just attach the included base with the two screws provided and then hook up your cable or antenna connection. The TV will auto scan for all available channels, including any clear QAM that are available from your cable company. There is even a option to automatically skip scrambled channels like HBO etc. if you're not using a cable box.
The screen is a generous 18.5" measured diagonally, and has a native resolution of 1360x768. At 720p the picture clarity is excellent, although like most LCD screens, don't expect much in the way of viewing angle. Unfortunately the included stand doesn't help much in this regard, but the TV is VESA compatible. With a suitable TV wall mount (sold separately) you can hang it on a nearby wall for a better viewing position.
The full function remote has a good layout with the most frequently used functions within easy thumb reach. The are also basic controls on the front bezel of the screen, although they are not very easy to see as they tend to blend in with their surroundings.
Audio volume is adequate, but not stellar (a common complaint in TVs this size). The LN19C350 comes with a rear headphone jack and digital audio out port so you can connect an auxiliary sound source if needed.
Once thing that isn't lacking is the connectivity. You get HDMI, PC D-Sub 15 pin, component, composite, PC audio in, RF in, digital audio out, headphone jack, and USB 2.0. You should have no problem hooking this TV up to just about anything that has a socket.
And if you get tired of watching TV the built in picture viewer will let you create your own slide show using any standard USB drive and you favorite jpegs.

The Samsung LN19C350 offers a solid feature set with a big bright screen and competitive pricing. Despite a few minor shortcomings this kitchen TV looks to be a winner with home chefs across the board.
