LG 15LW1R Wireless LCD TV
If the idea of drilling holes in your kitchen walls and threading cables is too scary to contemplate then consider the innovative LG 15LW1R. Unlike a conventional TV this device consists of two parts. A base unit transmitter and the wireless TV receiver.
You can setup the base transmitter at any convenient location in your home. Connect a suitable video source and the signal will be transmitted to the TV receiver. Place the TV anywhere within about 50 feet of the transmitter and you should be good to go.
This arrangement is ideal for temporary setups, like a rental apartment or if you're in the process of remodeling you kitchen.
The transmitter's built-in analog NTSC tuner is of little use these days but you can connect your cable box or any standard video source (DVD player, game console etc.)
The TV has a 15" LCD screen with a 400:1 contrast-ratio and 450 cdm2 brightness. It can be mounted on any flat surface with its included stand.
The TV receiver is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that delivers up to 2 hours viewing time.
