Coby TFTV1212 12 in LCD TV
If you just need a basic, no-frills LCD TV for your kitchen or home office the Coby TFTV1212 more than fits the bill. For under $100 you get a bright 12" screen, ATSC/NTSC tuners (including QAM), AV inputs, S-Video and a remote control. It can also double as a basic PC monitor via a 15pin VGA connection complete with a respectable 1200X800 resolution.
This TV does not come with antenna so if you plan on watching OTA broadcast channels you will need to supply one yourself.
The included base stand allows you to angle the screen up or down plus it pivots left and right. For the ultimate in space-saving the TFTV1212 can also be attached to a wall via any standard VESA 75mm mount.
The sound quality is on the tinny side and the volume control doesn't help matters. Instead of a smooth increase/decrease in sound as you adjust the volume there are some noticeable jumps. Trying to get just the right sound level can prove frustrating. If all else fails there is a line out jack, so you can attach external speakers if needed.

It's an inexpensive direct TV that fits well in most kitchens. Great for watching the news while cooking or cleaning up. If you're not looking for all the bells and whistles the Coby TFTV1212 is a little TV that will fit your lifestyle.
